Sept. 21, 2010 Plagiarism
After listening to the citation video and doing the reading I believe that it is very important to cite and reference any information that isn't your own. Using other peoples work and trying to pass it off as your own is wrong and illegal. I have always tried to make sure that I cite the information that I use. When it comes to a cochlear implant the information that I have knowledge of I have learned over the years since my son has one. I am not completely sure where all that information came from just that it was information that I needed to know as a parent to a hearing impaired child. Hope you all have a great week.

I would think at this point, with your basic knowledge, what you write is your own, unless you have to use something new that you have read. You might state that you researched this in the past due to your son's condition. Just be careful when you add new stuff, or if there is something you are not sure of, better to look it up and cite it. Good luck!
